The Middle East’s leading health, fitness and wellness event, Dubai Active, is inviting students aged 15 to 18 that are enrolled in schools across the UAE to enjoy the event free of charge this year with the launch of its free ticket initiative.
The initiative has been created to inspire the UAE’s younger generation to learn about the importance of health and wellbeing and will give students access to invaluable nutrition and fitness advice from some of the world’s leading trainers and educators.
Dubai Active invites students to join an exclusive student-only session on Friday 28 October from 11.00 am to 12.00 pm which will help them to understand the power of good food. Hosted by certified nutrition coach, trainer and Active IQ Ambassador, Karim Gabriel, the talk will bust food myths and teach them how to fuel the body the right way.
Inspiring a healthier, happier and more confident future UAE generation
Rachel Chatham, Dubai Active Show Director commented: “Learning how to improve your personal health and wellbeing at a young age is so important so we couldn’t think of a better initiative to launch. Students will be able to learn invaluable knowledge and expertise from the Dubai Active community and we hope that by inviting young people to the show for free this year, we will inspire them to build their self-confidence. Giving them access to a practical insight of how to create a sustainable healthy lifestyle means that we can encourage the future generation in the Emirates about how to live a healthy, happy and confident life.”
Students will also have the opportunity to network with fitness industry experts, successful business owners and the UAE’s fitness community
This year’s Dubai Active is presented by women’s only fitness gym group, FitnGlam and will take place at Dubai World Trade Centre from 28-30 October. Based on the theme of confidence, the show hopes to arm the UAE’s younger generation with knowledge about how to build self-confidence, self-esteem and a positive and healthy mindset, as well as helping them to discover and try out new styles of sport and fitness. Students will also have the opportunity to network with fitness industry experts, successful business owners and the UAE’s fitness community so they can discover more about the health and wellness world.
In collaboration with Dubai Sports Council, Dubai Active is now in its sixth year of operation and is an action-packed and energy-filled three-day show that features back-to-back workouts, yoga classes, inspirational talks and 300 exhibitors of world-leading sports nutrition, fitness, wellness and bodybuilding brands from 30 countries. Students will be able to discover and sample exclusive ranges from over 300 leading brands in fitness, apparel, beauty and nutrition and discover more about the yoga studio sponsor, Brightfox Drinks, fitness stage sponsor, Limoverse, and wellbeing partner, HAYAH.
