Global Student Entrepreneur Awards: Igniting Innovation and Empowering Aspiring Entrepreneurs Across Borders

The Global Student Entrepreneur Awards (GSEA), proudly hosted by the Entrepreneurs’ Organisation (EO), is thrilled to announce its upcoming competition designed to inspire, empower, and reward student entrepreneurs. This boundaryless virtual event aims to celebrate the diversity of entrepreneurial talent across the Middle East, Pakistan, and Africa (MEPA) region.

GSEA stands as a prestigious global competition that provides a unique platform for innovative student entrepreneurs to showcase their talents. With a mission to accelerate student success, challenge the status quo, and make a significant impact, GSEA offers these entrepreneurs an unparalleled opportunity to connect with an instrumental peer group and engage with the global entrepreneurial ecosystem.

The EO MEPA BRIDGE virtual competition, scheduled for 29th January, presents a remarkable opportunity for students to compete for a substantial prize pool of $100,000. This significant monetary contribution could serve as a crucial catalyst for the growth and development of their nascent ventures. As the world’s only network exclusively for entrepreneurs, EO continues to transform the lives of those who revolutionise the world

Saahil Mehta, President of MEPA Bridge, EO, shares his enthusiasm for the upcoming competition, stating, “This boundaryless event is a testament to our commitment to fostering entrepreneurial talent across the MEPA region. We are excited to provide a platform that celebrates diversity and encourages innovation.”

Bhavna Vohra, GSEA Chair, EO MEPA Bridge, echoes this sentiment, remarking, “GSEA is not just a competition; it’s an opportunity for student entrepreneurs to step into the global entrepreneurial ecosystem. Our mission is to empower these young minds, helping them transform their ideas into influential change-makers.”

Beyond competing for substantial prizes, GSEA participants gain invaluable mentorship from seasoned entrepreneurs, access to EO accelerator programs, incubators, and potential investors. This exposure equips them with practical insights and the skills necessary to navigate the dynamic world of business and entrepreneurship successfully.

Eligibility for GSEA participation targets students (undergraduate/graduate) who have been operating a business for at least six months, secured $500 in revenue or $1,000 in venture backing, and are principally responsible for their business operation. The complete list of qualifications can be found on the official GSEA website

GSEA’s commitment to fostering an entrepreneurial mindset, nurturing innovation, and providing real-world opportunities and experiences underscores its dedication to empowering the next generation of global change-makers. Through this competition, GSEA continues to ignite entrepreneurial spirit, stimulate innovation, and drive economic growth across borders.
