Celebrate Sunday Traditions at the City’s Newest Roast Brunch
The Sunday roast is among Britain’s best and most celebrated culinary traditions; when it’s right, it can compete with the world’s most-loved national dishes. The Roast by Bubbalicious launched at The Westin Dubai Mina Seyahi Beach Resort & Marina, bringing the very best of British bites, beverages, music and nostalgic memories.
The Great British Menu
Spend your Sunday afternoon with those you love the most and indulge in an array of posh starters with flavours that will rival your family’s own recipes. With an ornate selection of dishes from prawn cocktail cups and smoked paprika, gala pie with pickled cucumbers and baby pearl onions, Parma ham and rock melon with raspberry and not to mention everyone’s favourite, freshly baked bloomer buns with salty butter, there’s no British amuse-bouche quite like it.
Taste authentic British flavours of a proper Sunday roast consisting of British classics including the Yorkshire puddings (with unlimited gravy!), crispy roasties, stuffing and much more. With seven carvery options, including whole suckling pig, Bramley apples with sage and creamed cider sauce, roasted rib of beef with red wine sauce and freshly grated horseradish cream and crispy spit roast chicken with thyme and onion stuffing and wholegrain beer mustard and, while listening to live music, surrounded by all things nostalgic to lazy Sunday afternoons.
In true Bubbalicious grandeur, there will also be a traditional fish n’ chip shop serving up golden battered haddock, chips, crushed peas and tartare sauce alongside bottles and bottles of Sarson’s Malt Vinegar so you can season your seaside supper as you would on your weekend costal outings. There’s even a British Balti serving up curries in the same style as your neighbourhood takeaway for those homely weekend reminders.
G&TEA
According to the late Queen’s former royal chef Darren McGrady, Her Majesty’s favourite tipple is gin, so whether you’re going for the royal beverage package or the Breakfast tea pairing, The Roast by Bubbalicious promises free-flowing sips throughout. With beverage stations serving up Tanqueray and Hendricks mixes, Chapel Down Sparkling wine – which was also served at the wedding of Prince William and Kate Middleton in 2011 – British beers, bucks fizz, dark ‘n’ stormy and Espresso Martini’s the beverage pairing also promised to deliver the best that Britain has to offer. After all, it’s 5 o’clock somewhere!
Best of British
With three hours of rolling chart toppers, from Oasis to Eurythmics and everything in between, Chad & Matt will perform a weekly residency with a set list to rival The Official Chart on Radio 1 with Scott Mills. Those lazy Sunday lunch tracks are the heart of the afternoon but it’s guaranteed that those post-3.00pm pop classics will have you embracing your favorite decade of music. So embrace it, after all, it was acceptable in the ’80s.
Heir and Heiress
One for the family, enjoy this royal feast while unwinding to chilled pop music while the little ones engage in a variety of fun-filled activities with arts & crafts table, Jenga and mini golf. Watch mesmerising magic shows, spectacular acrobatic performances and let your kids become creatives for the afternoon with supervised interactive activities.
With dishes created just for them, there’s delicious battered British haddock, chunky chips with crushed peas and tartare sauce, Shepard’s pie with roasted mash potatoes and fat sausages with creamy potatoes and onion gravy.
The Roast by Bubbalicious promises to be the crown jewel of the city’s Sunday roasts, delivering you proper dishes, masterfully developed by British chefs.
So leave the cooking to the pros and book your Queens Guard welcome at Mina’s Kitchen every Sunday from 1.00pm to 4.00pm.
