Institution positioned #1 in Dubai in Art & Design and Business & Management Studies
Canadian University Dubai (CUD) has been recognised as Dubai’s top university for Art & Design and Business & Management Studies, according to the 2024 Quacquarelli Symonds (QS) World University Rankings by Subject. Among 5,000 globally renowned institutions, CUD has achieved rankings of 351-400 for Business & Management Studies and 201-240 for Art & Design. These placements position CUD third in the United Arab Emirates for Art & Design and fourth for Business & Management Studies, corresponding to the upper 5% and 8% of the world, respectively, for these fields of study.

Recent developments within the university include a strategic research collaboration with the University of Oxford to establish ‘The Global Health Network for the Middle East and North Africa’, where CUD will serve as the Regional Hub. This initiative involves collaboration with 12 outstanding regional partners, selected as MENA network members. As the leader of this network, CUD aims to enhance health research capacity, address public health issues, secure funding, foster partnerships, and mobilise resources for low-resource settings in the region.
