The visit marks the inaugural launch of the “Miral Empowers the Community” series

Miral, the leading creator of immersive destinations and experiences in Abu Dhabi, has invited ten students from Rize University & Career Guidance Program (UPCG) empowered by ADEK to visit Miral for an educational lecture about the entertainment and tourism industry, followed by a tour of Warner Bros. World™ Yas Island, Abu Dhabi.

Organised for high school students in grades 9 – 12, the visit marked the launch of the Miral Empowers the Community series as part of Miral’s CSR commitment to education.

“By hosting the top students of Rize UPCG Program, we are actively engaging and empowering our future generations through edutainment,” said Taghrid AlSaeed, Miral’s Executive Director of Group Communications and Destination Marketing. “Through Miral Empowers the Community, we strive to create a positive impact across all facets of society, fostering growth and prosperity through wellbeing, inclusivity and learning and development.”

Uniquely designed to provide a blend of education and entertainment, the visit started with a lecture by AlSaeed. Through her extensive industry experience, AlSaeed provided the students with a deeper understanding of the challenges and opportunities within the tourism sector. Furthermore, AlSaeed also emphasised the importance of Abu Dhabi Tourism Strategy 2030 and Miral’s role in contributing to Abu Dhabi’s tourism growth and economic diversification.

Following the lecture, the students transitioned from theory to practice with a hands-on exploration of Warner Bros. World™ Yas Island, Abu Dhabi. They gained firsthand insights into the operational aspects of developing and managing attractions.

The visits underscore Miral’s ongoing commitment to education and skill development, a core pillar of its CSR strategy. By actively engaging with educational institutions and programs, Miral aims to empower individuals and contribute to a thriving knowledge-based society. The Rize UPCG Program empowered by ADEK provides high school students with essential guidance and resources to prepare them for their future university studies and careers. The program targets students in grades 9-12 from private schools, Charter and public schools, facilitating connections with universities and businesses through informative webinars and sessions.
