The Ministry of Education (MoE) is participating in GITEX GLOBAL 2024, the world’s largest and most highly-rated tech and AI event, running until 18 October at the Dubai World Trade Centre. The Ministry is showcasing its latest innovations and AI technologies for education that play a key role in advancing the UAE’s education system at Stand 21 and 22 at the Digital Government Pavilion in Hall 18.

MoE’s commitment to systematically integrating modern technology to prepare the young generation to thrive in a rapidly evolving world

His Excellency Eng. Mohammed Al Qasim, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Education, noted that this year’s participation reaffirms MoE’s commitment to systematically integrating modern technology to prepare the young generation to thrive in a rapidly evolving world.

The Ministry’s stand features the Smart Inspection Platform, offering multiple benefits such as a user-friendly interface, risk prediction, document verification and scheduling functionalities. The innovative solution demonstrates the cutting-edge capabilities of AI in revolutionising school inspection and supervision processes.

MoE is also showcasing its AI Tutor, an AI-driven educational platform specifically designed for the UAE national curriculum. Featuring an intuitive interface that adapts to each student’s learning pace and style, it delivers personalised learning experiences tailored to individual educational needs. The AI Tutor also provides progress tracking through a personal dashboard and quizzes with immediate feedback for learning improvement, in addition to voice-to-voice functionality in both English and Arabic.

Moreover, visitors can explore Eshara, an AI-powered Emirati sign language translator that seeks to bridge the communication gap between the deaf and hearing communities in UAE schools. By accurately translating Emirati sign language to spoken or written language, it fosters accessibility in line with the UAE’s vision for an inclusive society.

The Ministry is also displaying students’ projects on “Smart Green Manufacturing: AI and 3D Printing for Sustainable, Recyclable, and Eco-Conscious Products”, and hosting discussions with visitors about these projects. Students also have the opportunity to showcase their creativity and innovation capabilities to address various challenges using modern technologies. GITEX GLOBAL provides an ideal platform for interaction between students, teachers, industry leaders and potential investors in these projects.

Furthermore, the exhibit includes the “Smart Interactive Teacher and Hologram Knowledge Transfer”, which creates an immersive learning environment to raise awareness of UAE heritage and customs in more than 65 languages to reach the widest possible audience.

Through its participation in GITEX GLOBAL 2024, MoE reaffirms its commitment to positioning the UAE as a global leader in educational innovation while fostering a flexible, efficient learning environment in line with the nation’s vision for a sustainable, knowledge-based future.
