The academic calendar has been issued by the UAE Government and all private schools in Dubai and Abu Dhabi must abide by the dates specified. This includes the start and end of the academic year, as well as the winter, spring, and summer break holidays.
In addition, all private schools must tentatively communicate public holidays (like Eid, and UAE National Day) to parents and confirm the exact dates once declared by the Federal Government.
DUBAI
- Start of the Academic Year – 26 August 2024
- Winter Break – 16 December 2024 – 6 January 2025 (for schools starting their academic year in September)
- Spring Break – 24 March – 7 April 2025
- Academic Year End – 27 June 2025
ABU DHABI
- Start of the Academic Year – 26 August 2024
- Winter Break – 16 December 2024 – 5 January 2025
- Spring Break – 24 March – 13 April 2025
- Academic Year End – 27 June 2025
