Students looking to book flights and vacations for their upcoming three-week spring break are in luck because it just got cheaper to fly with Emirates and Etihad.
If you want to fly with Emirates, you need to book your flights before 31 March using the promo code STUDENT, with discounts of up to 10% on Economy Class. Fancy treating yourself and flying Business Class? Well, you can buy a ticket that’s 5% cheaper. There’s an additional 10kg baggage allowance too, unless they are headed to the US or Canada, in which regular baggage allowances apply.
So, who can apply for these cheap fares? The answer is anyone who is a full-time student and is between 16 and 31 years of age at the time of outbound travel and who holds a valid student ID from an accredited school or university of higher education. Consequently, students will be asked to show a valid student ID or school acceptance letter at check-in. You may also be asked to show proof of age as well.
Become an Etihad Guest – it’s a loyalty programme that gives you many rewards.
Students from certain countries can also save up to 10% on their Economy Class tickets and up to 5% on their Business Class tickets when they are going to their country of study or home country via Etihad. To apply for this discount requires three easy steps:
Verify your international student ID with a valid student ID or acceptance letter in English. They’ll email you once they have reviewed your documents.
